As a tool for promoting the teaching of African American theatre and drama, BTA is building a syllabus bank—which we hope will grow into a helpful resource for educators planning college courses.

(Note: approximately one-third of this syllabus is dedicated to realism and naturalism in African American drama.) We hope this syllabus bank will continue to grow in the future. We welcome contributions to the bank of syllabi for any course related to the fields of African American theater, drama and performance.
